We are Tanvi and Vaibhav — better known around here as Tan and Vibes. We started dating in 2023, began travelling together soon after, and got married in January 2025. Born from our nicknames and first used as our wedding hashtag, Tanned Vibes Only eventually became the perfect name for the story we were already creating together.
How we travel
Vaibhav is the planner — the routes, stays and daily itinerary are usually ready well before departure. Tanvi brings the spontaneity, making sure there is always room to change the plan, slow down or follow an unexpected detour.
Our trips tend to land somewhere between activity-filled days and unhurried relaxation: road trips and city walks, local food and scenic drives, early starts and slow breakfasts.
Why this blog exists
Tanned Vibes Only is part memory box, part honest travel diary and part practical guide for couples planning adventures of their own.
We share the places we visit, the experiences we love, the things that do not go according to plan and the small moments that make every trip ours. We are not trying to tick off the world as quickly as possible. We are simply exploring it together — one journey, one story and plenty of photographs at a time.
